CTET Exam Detail

Central Board of Secondary Education has released official notification and inviting online application from eligible candidates. All the important information and important links are given below. So, Interested candidates must read official notification before apply online. If candidates are eligible according to education qualification given in the notification then candidates can apply online by given link below.

Application Fees

Only paper 1 or 2

• General / OBC (NCL) – Rs.1000/-
• SC/ST/PWD – Rs.500/-

Both Paper 1 & 2

• General / OBC (NCL) – Rs1200/-
• SC/ST/PWD – Rs.600/-
• Application Fee can be paid through online mode.

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum education qualification to become teacher for Class I-V :-

Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education, in accordance with the NCTE, Regulation, 2002.

OR

Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).

OR

Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

OR

Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).

• Minimum education qualification to become Teacher for Class VI-VIII :-

Graduation passed or appearing in final of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.ED).

OR

Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

OR

Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final of 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).

OR

Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 year BA/B.Sc.Ed or BA.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed.

OR

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year B.Ed.

OR

Any candidate qualified B.Ed. Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET. Moreover, A person who is pursuing any of the teacher education courses specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010 is also qualified to appear in the TET/CTET as per TET guidelines.

How To Apply for CTET Exam

Those candidates who wants to apply, they need to follow seven steps to apply online for CTET Apply Online –

1. Visit at the official website – https://ctet.nic.in/
2. Log on to CTET official website.
3. Go to the Link “Apply Online” and open the same.
4. Fill in the Online Application Form and write down Registration number/ Application number for future use.
5. Upload scanned images of latest photograph and signature.
6. Pay examination fee by e-challan or debit / credit card.
7. Take print confirmation page of record for future reference.
