About Admission in Engineering
JCECEB has released the official notification for preparing state merit list for conducting the counselling for admission in different branches B.E./ B.Tech corse on JEE Mains Rank 2022. Candidate has to complete all eligibility criteria.
Educational Criteria
Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics/ Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Tech/ Biology/ Information Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship. (Any of the three) & obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together (As per AICTE Approval Process Hand Book 2022-23)
Residential Criteria
- The Candidate must be a Citizen of India and Local/Permanent Resident of Jharkhand.
Reservation on Cast Basis
The Current Reservation policy of Govt. of Jharkhand will be followed for admission in Institutes. Cast Certificate produced by BC-I & BC-II Candidates will be Valid only if he/she does not belong to Creamy layer and it should be mentioned in cast Certificate.
